The Department of Radiology at Saint Vincent Hospital is proud to have received accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) for the following sections:  

• Mammography
• Ultrasound
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Computed Tomography (CT)
• Nuclear Medicine
• PET Imaging

The ACR is a national organization that "has devoted its resources to making imaging safe, effective, and accessible to those who need it."  To receive this accreditation, our department voluntarily went through a rigorous review process to ensure that met nationally accepted standards.  Patients can be confident that our facility meets or exceeds quality assurance and safety guidelines, and Saint Vincent Hospital now appears on the list of ACR accredited facilities on their website www.acr.org.  In addition, this accreditation also recognizes that our radiologists are "well-qualified, through education and certification, to perform and interpret" patient's medical images.
